Dwarves are a sturdy and hardy race, short in stature, but big in bravado and cunning. They are proficient in all weapons but prefer axes above all others. Magic is not of much use to a dwarf, but to make up for this, their strength regenerates at 1.5 times the normal rate.
They are one of the few classes with the ability to determine the nutritional value of foods using the taste command, and using compare, they can determine the relative value of armour and weapons as well. Skilled artificers, with the right tools, they can repair damaged armour.
