Powers

Nalal is the founder and chief coder of 7 Degrees of Freedom. He is responsible for managing the development of the mud.

Jaakan is responsible for some of the most vicious and evil quests ever to grace 7 Degrees of Freedom. He works extremely hard to generate high quality quests and zones but feels it's all worth it whenever he sees a player dying in one of them. He currently looks after the website, too.

Major helps with admin in the MUD. He is the Webmaster, and was responsible for the upkeep of the hosting computer. Major is also the 7 Degrees of Freedom moral compass.

Senzcy is a very popular person on 7DOF; everyone likes her. She also works very hard to develop new zones and quests as well as being an invaluable member of the testing team.

Porcellina continues to help with in game admin and is currently responsible for in game INFO and HELP files. She is especially adept at keeping morale high. She is keen to offer constructive criticism of any new development, and is valued for her ability to see the positive side of things.

In addition to being one of our most loyal runners, Dani has been heavily involved in testing, and is a good sounding board for new ideas and concepts. She is currently responsible for in-game player issues, policies, and complaints.

Having completed all of our quests prior to powerdom, Thalia knows 7DOF like the back of her hand. With the aid of the lovely Jaakan, she constructed our webmap. There's nothing more that Thalia enjoys than a good quest. She's always pleased to help, and is currently developing several new ideas for 7DOF.

Before November 10^th 2003, mud was only something clinging to his shoes - nowadays it's the other way round. This overly old Swede is known for his abilities to find a death room anywhere. Still, he maintains a happy face and delivers bad jokes all over 7DOF. Ask nicely, and a hint might be your reward.

Also known for testing out Jaakan's viciousness before it gets released as quests.

Stonecutter was part of the team for his determination and commitment. Friendly and equally good at helping runners in trouble, this made him an important member of the powers team.

Vampyra was an Avatar due to her commitment to the mud in-game, and also her help with development. Vampyra was also amazingly skilled in colouring. She really lit up 7DOF with her colourcoding and personality.

Wildfire was part of the 7 Degrees of Freedom team due to her long standing commitment to the game. She guided some of our most loyal players to 7DOF, and made 7DOF a fun place to be.

Marduke was the chief zone writer for 7 Degrees of Freedom. He was responsible for many of the zone upgrades and new zones as well as managing the development team.

Mxyzptlk was the chief quest/zone writer at 7 Degrees of Freedom. He wrote many quests for the MUD and was one of the main guiding hands during the birth of 7 Degrees of Freedom. If it were not for him the MUD would not be where it is today.

Lumina was heavily involved in a lot of the zone upgrading and enhancement. This coupled with his quest writing and coding abilities are why he was such a valuable member of the powers.

Excaliber is a very experienced player and was a highly valued member of our testing, development and in-game admin team.
